ReviewSense ("we", "our", "us") is operated by an independent developer based in India. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use ReviewSense at reviewsense.in ("Service"), how we use it, and what choices you have.
By using ReviewSense, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
2. Data we collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Account information: Your name, email address, and password (hashed with bcrypt — we never store plain-text passwords).
- Review content: The text of reviews you paste for analysis. This content is sent to our AI provider (Groq) for processing and is not retained for model training.
- Payment information: We do not store card numbers or banking details. Payments are processed by Razorpay, which handles all sensitive payment data under their own PCI-compliant systems.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: Number of analyses run today, your plan type, plan expiry date.
- Analysis history: Stored results of your past analyses (platform, category, sentiment score, result JSON) — visible only to you.
- Log data: Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.
2.3 Information we do NOT collect
- We do not collect or store full credit/debit card numbers
- We do not use your review content to train any AI model
- We do not track your activity outside of ReviewSense
- We do not collect device identifiers or advertising IDs

3. How we use your data
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Providing the Service: To authenticate you, run analyses, enforce daily limits, and display your history.
- Processing payments: To create Razorpay orders, verify payment signatures, and update your plan.
- Improving the Service: Aggregate, anonymised usage statistics (not linked to individuals) help us understand how the product is used.
- Security: To detect fraud, abuse, or unauthorised access.
- Legal compliance: To meet obligations under Indian law, including tax record-keeping.
- Communication: To send you important account-related emails (e.g. account confirmation, payment receipts). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
5. Data storage & security
Your data is stored on Supabase servers, which are hosted in secure, enterprise-grade data centres. We implement the following security measures:
- Passwords hashed using bcrypt with 12 salt rounds
- All API communication over HTTPS/TLS
- JWT authentication tokens with 30-day expiry
- Row Level Security (RLS) in Supabase — users can only access their own data
- Razorpay signature verification for all payment events
- Rate limiting on all API endpoints (30 requests/minute)
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Cookies & local storage
ReviewSense does not use tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage to store your JWT authentication token and basic user profile (name, email, plan type) on your device. This data stays on your device and is used only to keep you logged in.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking pixels.
7. Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Correction: Update your name or email through your account settings.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data (excluding payment records retained for legal purposes).
- Portability: Export your analysis history as a CSV file using the export feature.
- Objection: Object to processing of your data for specific purposes.

8. Children's privacy
ReviewSense is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you via email. Continued use of ReviewSense after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

1. Overview & acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ReviewSense ("Service"), operated by an independent developer based in India ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using ReviewSense on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
2. Accounts & responsibilities
2.1 Registration
You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
2.2 Account security
You must notify us immediately at support@reviewsense.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account caused by your failure to keep credentials secure.
2.3 One account per user
Each account is for a single individual user. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
2.4 Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.
3. Plans & billing
3.1 Free plan
The Free plan is available to all registered users at no cost. It includes 3 analyses per day and access to core features as described on the pricing page. We reserve the right to modify free-plan limits with reasonable notice.
3.2 Pro plans
Pro plans are available as one-time purchases for 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, or 1 year. All plans are priced in Indian Rupees (INR) and processed via Razorpay. By purchasing a Pro plan, you authorize us to charge the applicable amount to your selected payment method.
3.3 No auto-renewal
All plans are one-time payments. We do not automatically renew or charge your payment method. Your Pro access expires at the end of the paid period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan. You can manually renew at any time.
3.4 Price changes
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect existing paid plans that are currently active. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any pricing changes.
3.5 Taxes
Prices displayed are inclusive of applicable GST where required by Indian law. You are responsible for any other taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.
4. Refunds
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all Pro plans. If you are not satisfied with ReviewSense Pro within 7 days of your purchase, contact us at support@reviewsense.in with your payment ID and we will process a full refund within 5–7 business days.
After 7 days, refunds are not available except in cases of:
- Duplicate charges due to a technical error on our part
- Service being unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours
- A billing error where you were charged an incorrect amount
Refunds are processed to the original payment method via Razorpay and may take 5–7 business days to appear on your statement.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use ReviewSense only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to analyze reviews of illegal products or services
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, daily analysis limits, or Pro feature restrictions
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our written permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of our application
- Share your account credentials with others or resell access to the Service
- Use the Service to harm, harass, or deceive other users or third parties
- Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the security of our systems
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these usage policies without prior notice.
6. Intellectual property
6.1 Our property
ReviewSense, including its code, design, branding, and content, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of our Service without express written permission.
6.2 Your content
You retain full ownership of the review content you paste into ReviewSense. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, temporary licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the analysis service. We do not use your content for any other purpose, including AI model training.
6.3 Analysis results
The analysis results generated by ReviewSense are yours to use however you choose for your business purposes. Attribution to ReviewSense is appreciated but not required.
7. Disclaimers
ReviewSense is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
- AI-generated analysis results will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular business decision
- The Service will meet all your specific requirements
We are not responsible for decisions you make based on analysis results generated by the Service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of ReviewSense, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Loss of data or analysis results
- Business interruption
- Inaccurate or misleading analysis results
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. For free-plan users, our total liability is limited to ₹500.
9. Termination
9.1 By you
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@reviewsense.in. Upon termination, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except for payment records which we are required to retain for legal purposes.
9.2 By us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms. We may also discontinue the Service entirely with 30 days' notice. In the event of discontinuation, we will refund any unused portion of your paid plan on a pro-rata basis.
9.3 Effect of termination
Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6 (Intellectual Property), 7 (Disclaimers), 8 (Limitation of Liability), and 10 (Governing Law) survive termination.
10. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of ReviewSense shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
Before initiating any legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at legal@reviewsense.in to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve issues within 30 days.

We want you to be completely satisfied with ReviewSense. If for any reason you are not happy with your Pro plan purchase, you can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
How to request a refund
- Email us at support@reviewsense.in within 7 days of your purchase
- Include your registered email address and Razorpay payment ID (found in your payment confirmation email)
- We will process your refund within 2 business days
- The refund will appear in your account within 5–7 business days depending on your bank
Eligible for refund
- All Pro plan purchases within 7 days of payment
- Duplicate charges caused by a technical error
- Service downtime exceeding 72 consecutive hours
- Being charged an incorrect amount
Not eligible for refund
- Requests made after 7 days of purchase
- Free plan (no charge, nothing to refund)
- Accounts suspended for Terms of Service violations
- Dissatisfaction with AI analysis quality after 7 days (we encourage you to try the free plan before upgrading)
Partial refunds
We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a plan (e.g. 2 months remaining on a 3-month plan after 7 days). This is because all plans are heavily discounted one-time purchases, not subscriptions.
However, if you have a compelling reason (serious health issue, business closure, etc.), contact us and we will review on a case-by-case basis.
Refund processing
All refunds are processed through Razorpay back to the original payment method used. We do not issue refunds via other means. Processing time is typically 5–7 business days after we initiate the refund, though it can take longer depending on your bank or card issuer.
